Between 14-15 December, the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in partnership with Women Business Council in Georgia (WBCG) will host the networking event to the Regional Gender Analysis covering Europe and Eurasia “Connecting Women for Economic Empowerment“, that will take place in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The event aims to facilitate networking among women’s business associations and chambers of commerce from Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia to share best practices to overcome daily challenges and to discuss the findings of the Regional Gender Analysis. This analysis, developed by CIPE in partnership with CIVITTA International, examines the barriers faced by women in the economic field across 16 countries.
The 1.5-day event will bring together over 15 women’s business associations and chambers of commerce from over 15 countries participating in CIPE’s “WE-Champs: Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem by Networking Regional Women’s Chambers of Commerce and Business Associations” project. Supported by the U.S. Department of State Secretary’s Office of Global Women’s Issues (S/GWI), the project seeks to bolster women’s economic security by empowering women’s chambers of commerce and business associations with locally designed and led initiatives, fostering gender-responsive institutions, and catering to the diverse needs of women members.
